Getting Console and Network Logs from Firefox

If you are experiencing issues with Hightail, you can see if errors are being generated in the Developer Tools via the browser console and network logs to help Hightail Support troubleshoot the issue.

Getting Console Logs

To get the console logs, make sure that you are at the part of Hightail that is returning the error, and follow these steps:

  1. Open the Firefox browser.
  2. Open Developer Tools by navigating to the Settings icon(3 lines on the upper right of the browser), then selecting More Tools> Developer tools.
  3. Select the Console tab.
  4. Click on the trashcan icon to clear the previous logs.

5. Reproduce the issue you are experiencing.

6. Once you have captured the issue, return to the Developer Tools window.

7. Right-click in the console, then select Save All Messages to File.

8. Enter a name for your file, then select Save.
