How to access Hightail in Mainland China?

As of 2017, DNS requests for certain Hightail components are being blocked/hijacked in mainland China. Taiwan and Hong Kong are not affected.  Specifically, DNS queries for the following hostnames may result in the incorrect IP address being returned. 

• spaces.hightail.com
• api.spaces.hightail.com
• cdn.spaces.hightail.com
• download.spaces.hightail.com

As a work-around, customers are encouraged to route DNS queries for spaces.hightail.com to a trusted DNS server via a secure connection such as private circuit or Virtual Private Network (VPN).  This will ensure the correct IP addresses are returned, and Hightail can be accessed.
